Objectives of the Course

To help future professional musicians, who might work in orchestras after graduation, gain required skills in this area.

Supporting the improvement of orchestra playing within the guidence of classical music repertoire of the related instrument

Learning Outcomes
1.Student's knowing of the orchestral repertoire
2.Student’s ability to analyze the orchestral pieces which he / she is expected to play according to the level of the school year of the related programme
3.Student’s ability to determine the technical and musical difficulties, to decide which methods to use in order to overcome these difficulties, and to apply these methods to be able to play the pieces that are in the repertoire
4.Ability to work and perform in harmony with the other orchestra members
5.Student’s ability to perform the pieces that are in the repertoire meeting the concert level at the semester
