Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to comprehend the experimental research method in psychology and to learn the use of this method in psychophysics, perception, attention and response time, conditioning and learning, remembering and forgetting, thinking and problem solving processes.

Course Content

Explanation in scientific psychology, research techniques, experiments, ethics in psychology research, how to read and write research reports, observation and correlation principles and applications of experimental psychology (psychophysics, perception, attention and reaction time, conditioning and learning, remembering and forgetting, thinking and problem solving, individual differences and developmental issues).
