Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to examine the basic concepts and main theories of emotions and motivation on the basis of neurophysiological and psychosocial processes and self.

Course Content

The field of motivation and emotion psychology, motivation approaches: History and current approaches, Motivation, emotion and brain relationship, Physiological needs, Internal and external motivation, Psychological needs, Social needs, goal formation and goal orientation, personal control beliefs, self and motives, emotions nature, individual differences: personality traits, unconscious motivation, self-development motivation and positive psychology
