Objectives of the Course

Providing students the ability of hypothesis testing process, learning statistical techniques used and learning how to apply based on data types.

Hypothesis testing , statistical errors, confidence interval, Student's t test ; One-way analysis of variance, multivariate analysis of variance (ANOVA) ; Non-parametric statistics , chi-square

Hypothesis testing and related concepts: probability, normal distribution, statistical power, Type 1 and Type 2 error

Confidence interval and confidence limits

t test – single sample t test - correlated/dependent samples
