Objectives of the Course

Assessment of hearing and visually impaired children, organization of classroom environments for them, individual and group education, skills in application level in reading and writing education.

Course Content

Individuals with hearing and vision impairment; The nature of hearing and vision; Classification: educational, psychological, medical; Prevalence and frequency of occurrence; Causes: prenatal, moment of birth, postnatal; Screening / correction: medical, developmental and educational screening / correction; Team and cooperation; Education-training environments; Scientific based practices; Services offered to families, support and legal rights.
