Objectives of the Course

To enable the students to distinguish the definition and scope of social adaptation skills in individuals with autistic spectrum disorders and to plan interventions to enable them to acquire social adaptation skills

Course Content

Diagnosis and characteristics of autism spectrum disorder, elements forming social skills; The importance of social skills in daily and business life, the process of social cohesion; Evaluation and teaching of social skills: preparation of assessment tools for gaining social adjustment skills; Teaching environments and methods; Teaching presentation; Ensure continuity and generalization of the skills gained
