Objectives of the Course

To enable students to learn the basic concepts of work and vocational education, to plan interventions for vocational education and employment of individuals with intellectual disabilities

Course Content

Basic concepts of work and vocational education: Skill, job, profession, vocational education, vocational education, job teaching; Employability skills; Job skills and vocational behaviors; Vocational education practices in Turkey; Life after school and career planning; Employment models and practices; Researching job opportunities, job application and job placement processes; İşkur practices; Lifelong vocational education; Vocational education programs in special education.
