Objectives of the Course

To recognize coordinate system. To understand the concepts of point, vectors, and lines in 2-D plane. To draw related figures in both 2-D and 3-D. To solve analytic geometry problems.

Course Content

Relationships between point and line in plane analytic geometry, vectors in plane, line and basic problems, circle and basic problems.

Learning Outcomes
1.Express the translations, rotations, reflections in plane.
2.Express the equations of straight line in plane, situation of point to straight line, distance of point to straight line, situations of between two straight lines and apply related practices.
3.To recognize the vector concept in three dimensional spaces.
4.To know the definition of scalar multiplication of vectors in plane and space.
5.To explain the planes that intersect, parallel and perpendicular to each other in space.
