Objectives of the Course

Teaching the basic statistical concepts to preservice teacher

Regulation of data; sampling distribution and estimation; confidence interval; hypothesis testing, correlation and regression.

1.Students will be able to understand concepts and ideas related to statistics.
2. Students will be able to carry out statistical inquiry process (formulating statistical questions, collecting, organizing, summarizing, representing, analyzing, interpreting data, and making inferences)
3. Students will be able to use appropriate statistical techniques to analyze data.
4.Students will be able to use ICT to analyze data.
5. Students will be able to appreciate the role of statistics in real life.
