Objectives of the Course

To improve the trigonometric relation and equation solving skills of pre-service teachers, to work on the concepts of definite and indefinite integral with the purpose of constructing the integral concept and to make applications for series and convergence tests.

Course Content

Trigonometric functions, trigonometric relations and trigonometric equation solutions. Complex numbers and properties. Riemann's lower and upper sum, the concept of integral, indefinite integrals, integration techniques. Definite integrals and calculations of area, volume, arc length and surface area with use of definite integral. Absolute integrals, series and convergence tests.
