Objectives of the Course

Upskilling student(s) knowledge and skills in relation to contraceptive methods, communication and counselling to carry out family planning consultation.

Learning Outcomes
1.To be able to clearify the situation of the family planning in Türkiye and in the world in frame of family planning-related politics.
2.To be able to say the importance ov communication in councelling
3.To be able to evaluate the applicant inclusively appropriate method prior to the councelling
4.Ability to explain consultancy
5.To be able to explain the types of consultancy.
6.Being able to say the basic principles of consultancy
7.Be able to state at least three of the applicant's and consultant's rights
8.To be able to practice the family practice councelling (general, method specific and follow-up) by using the 6 steps throughout the consultation process
9.To be able to classify the family planning methods, to say the mechanisms of action of methods, their positive and negative sites and rules of their usage.
10.To able to follow-up new developments related to family planning methods and to informe the applicant about new methods.
