Objectives of the Course

The objective of the course is to enable students to know how psychology considers and investigates human-being, and, to understand and explain the factors underlying various human behaviors using the concepts and general knowledge of psychology.

Learning Outcomes
1.As a science, knows the difference, scientific method and application areas of psychology from other disciplines.
2.Knows the basic theoretical approaches and applied areas in the historical development of psychology
3.Knows the connections between human behavior and physiological processes
4.Recognize and explain the concepts and processes about consciousness, sensation, perception, motivation and development
5.Defines and explains the learning, thinking language, memory concepts and processes of psychology.
6.Recognizes the concepts of intelligence and personality, individual differences and generally knows how to determine them.
7.Knows the concept of stress and stress coping techniques
8.Generally recognizes psychological disorders and treatments
9.Knows the cultural differences that affect human behavior.
