Objectives of the Course

To gain access to evidence-based nursing information by comprehending evidence-based nursing practices and classifications and to gain the principles of use in practice areas.

This course includes topics like these; Evidence, Evidence-based practice, Historical development, causes and purposes of evidence-based practice, Obtaining reliable evidence, Stages of the evidence- based practice process, Evidence-based practices and nursing, Obstacles and facilitators in evidence- based nursing practice, Evidence level classifications, Evidence-based practice resources; systematic review, randomized controlled trial, case-controlled study, Evidence-based practice resources; cohort study, observation, Ways of accessing evidence, STE guides, STE nursing centers, internet resources, Evidence application, clinical activities, Evidence-based practice examples; pain management, Evidence-based practice examples; oncology nursing, Evidence-based practice examples; surgical nursing, course evaluation.
