Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide students with conceptual competence in Civil Society and Volunteering and the strategic knowledge they will follow in order to be more productive as an NGO professional or volunteer. In addition, the work of developing non-governmental organizations in the world and in Turkey will be examined

Course Content

In the course, they will briefly see the working procedures and principles of non-governmental organizations in today's world, especially volunteering activities and civil society activities, their activities, and their strategies for expressing themselves to the society in the context of promotion and public relations. In addition, there will be sharing of experiences of various non-governmental organizations sharing their activities.

1.Will have sufficient conceptual knowledge about Volunteer Studies
2.Will become knowledgeable about Civil Society practices
3.Learn the relationship and effects between Civil Society Studies and society, and be able to analyze these issues.
4.Able to understand the individual and social benefits of volunteering projects
5.Will have the knowledge and experience to take part in a volunteer work
