In this course it is aimed to provide students with the necessay knowledge and skills about care pre, during and postoperative periods to a surgical patient, and also to give capability to provide care, education, rehabilitation to surgical patients.
Intensive care nursing, respiratory system surgery, neurosurgery, uro-genital system surgery, tranplantation, breast surgery, laparoscopic surgery, eye surgery, ear-nose-throat surgery and plastic surgery.In surgical clinics, students go to practice in 8 hours per week. In clinics practise, students learn to prepare nursing care plan using nursing process for a adult patient with acute or chronic surgical diseases
