Objectives of the Course

This course covers gender and reproductive health problems, anatomy and physiology of the reproductive system, care during pregnancy, birth and postpartum period and women's health and diseases in all life periods, infertility, benign and malignant formations of the reproductive system and nursing care, structural and functional reproductive organs. It aims to gain knowledge and skills about disorders.

Course Content

This course physiology of pregnancy, the mother's physiology during pregnancy, fetal health evaluation of prenatal care, labor and nursing care, and the physiology of the newborn care, postpartum period, and nursing care, lactation, risky pregnancies, risky, labor, postpartum period, and risky situations topics include nursing care.

5.To be able to monitor and care for women during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum period.
6.To be able to identify, monitor and care for reproductive health problems for women's life cycles.
7.To be able to inform about family planning
8.Helping the pregnant, postpartum or mother to gain knowledge and skills about breastfeeding
9.Being able to guide women on behaviors that protect women's health
10.Ability to monitor and care for common gynecological problems, infections and diseases
11.To be able to explain infertility and assisted reproductive techniques
12.Ability to explain antenatal tests used in fetal evaluation
13.To be able to explain neonatal physiology
