By enabling the student to recognize the cultural characteristics and cultural changes of the society in which he/she lives; To gain knowledge and skills about intercultural approaches in midwifery care, emphasizing the importance of cultural differences and their effects in midwifery care in the protection and development of the health of women, newborns, and children as primary, family and community health as secondary.
