Objectives of the Course

The purpose of this course is to train the midwifery who adopt lifelong learning and reflect these educator role and functions by examining the basic concepts, theories and principles of related to the teaching-learning process

Course Content

Contemporary roles of midwifery and educator role, basic concepts of education, phılosophy of midwifery educatıon, basic learning theory and principles, learning and teaching process, adult education, clinical education, ın-servıce education.

1. To be able to examine educational role of the nurse
2.To be able to define the basic concepts of education
3.Determines the subject of education and creates its content
4.Determines the aims and objectives of education regarding the subject of education.
5.Determines the necessary tools and equipment appropriate for training.
6.Determines learning methods and techniques appropriate for learning objectives.
7.Presents the training he/she has prepared using effective presentation techniques.
8.Realizes the importance of lifelong learning
