To provide information and awareness about the status of Maternal and Child Health in our country and in the world, factors affecting maternal and child health, policies and child diseases. To gain knowledge and skills related to appropriate midwifery interventions for common infectious diseases and vaccines, prevention methods, accident injury and first aid in childhood.
This course includes maternal and child health problems in the world and in Turkey, the status of maternal and child health in the world and in Turkey, maternal and child health criteria, child health diagnosis, child nutrition, care, immunization services, child health services in disaster periods, protection from accidents, 0-6 years of healthy child follow-up, child abuse, neglect.
