Upskilling student(s) knowledge and skills in relation to contraceptive methods, communication and counselling to carry out family planning consultation.
Reproductive health and the situation of family planning in Türkiye, communication, councelling, evaluation of application, prevention of infcetion, conraceptive methods, infertility, registration system, innovations in family planning.

| 1. | Ability to explain the status and importance of reproductive health and family planning in the world and Turkey within the framework of policies related to family planning. |
| 2. | Ability to articulate the importance of communication in counseling and to use interpersonal communication skills to provide family planning counseling. |
| 3. | Ability to comprehensively evaluate clients through history-taking, physical examination, and laboratory tests prior to counseling in order to offer appropriate methods. |
| 4. | Ability to explain the significance of genital tract infections in terms of family planning and to assess clients for these infections. |
| 5. | Ability to define counseling, explain its importance and purpose, recognize its contributions to family planning services, and describe different types of counseling (general, method-specific, and follow-up) and their characteristics. |
| 6. | Ability to list the fundamental principles of counseling for both clients and counselors, and to articulate the rights of clients and counselors. |
| 7. | Ability to conduct family planning counseling (general, method-specific, and follow-up) using the six steps of the counseling process (Source). |

| 9. | Ability to classify family planning methods, explain their mechanisms of action, advantages and disadvantages, and usage guidelines. |
