To examine the responses of tissues to electrotherapy modalities commonly used in physiotherapy and to teach the mechanism of action and application methods of low-frequency currents.

Electrophysical mechanisms, physiological responses of muscles and nerves, stimulation properties of healthy and denervated muscles will be discussed, basic properties and application principles of low-frequency currents will be teached.
