To examine the thermal principles of electrotherapy, to examine the responses of tissues to electrotherapy modalities commonly used in physiotherapy, and to teach the mechanism of action and application methods of high-frequency currents.

Thermal mechanisms, pain inhibition, physiological responses in electrotherapy will be discussed, and the basic properties and application principles of high-frequency currents will be teached.
