Objectives of the Course

This course is an introduction to the sociological analysis of economic activity. The sociology of economics, which emerged as a sub-discipline in the last quarter of a century, has studied three main themes: the first is the examination of the preconditions and constraints of the economic processes defined by economists. Second, it has been to produce economic models for social phenomena that seldom enter the workplace of the economy. Finally, attempts have been made to create alternatives to phenomena that are only formulated in economic terms. This course aims to provide a general idea of ??these approaches in economics sociology.
