Objectives of the Course

By mentioning the meanings and types of general leadership and classified concepts in the literature on coaching, it is ensured that the conditions under which these concepts can be included or can be included in physical education and sports are determined. To provide detailed coverage of the role of leadership theory and approaches in sports arenas.

Learning Outcomes
1.At the end of this course, the student will be able to evaluate different definitions of leadership.
2.At the end of this course, the three main components of the student leader definition are; will be able to provide information about the characteristics of the leader, the characteristics of the followers and situational factors and the interaction between them.
3.At the end of this course, the student will be able to examine different leadership theories in the behavioral approach.
4.At the end of this course, the basic social psychological elements associated with the concept of student leadership; will be able to explain issues such as social impact, power, politics.
5.At the end of this course, the student will be able to discuss current theories and concepts such as charismatic leadership, transformational leadership, destructive leadership.
