Objectives of the Course

Understanding of movement subject and to be successful for the triple voice movement. Application on instrument and understanding related with various techniques. Assembling the only condiment is associated with the grip and the authority of the octave according to the level of difficulty of sorting. Preparing repertoire by listening to and playing the instrument.

Course Content

Traditional playing violin techniques of Turkish music will be thought as with their rules in the given lectures at 3. Position. Improving ability to play violin with triple transposition . Playing the violin will be studied after listening some samples from archive records.

Week 1 - Theoretical & Practice
Preparing for application of finger practices with triple transposition at 3. position.
Week 2 - Theoretical & Practice
Application of triple transposition; Studying Rast-Mahur-Sazkar makam series with first finger on Kaba Çargah string.
Week 3 - Theoretical & Practice
Studying with fiddlestick as 10/8 and listening and playing Sazsemai.
Week 4 - Theoretical & Practice
Studying Rast-mahur makam series as oktav for the third position and applying on the songs.
Week 5 - Theoretical & Practice
Playing Rast makam series at the first finger and studying Nişaburek Makam series and applying on the songs.
Week 6 - Theoretical & Practice
Listening and playing Huseyni makam songs at the same place and as triple transpose style.
Week 7 - Theoretical & Practice
Listening and playing Muhayyer makam songs at the same place and as triple transpose style.
