Objectives of the Course

Improving the basic rules of music, writing and reading skills

Course Content

Explanation of major and minor sequence formations. Writing and recognizing ranges and multiple ranges in a 8 li. Studies to distinguish between 3, 4, 5 and 6 intervals. Studies to distinguish between 2, now 4, now and missing 5 and 7 intervals. Bona, solfege, sight-reading and dictation practices at the specified level

1.To learn theoretical information about Traditional Turkish Art Music,
2.To be able to develop the awareness and ability to contribute to the survival of the Traditional Turkish Art Music and Traditional Turkish Saant Music, the transfer to the next generations and the adoption of these genres.
3.Ability to conceptualize, define and classify music-related items
4.To learn the concepts of maqam and method in Traditional Turkish Art Music and Folk music and to comprehend the terms to develop the ability to use them in instrument and repertoire lessons.
