The Organologycourse will help students to gain stronger control over the instruments they use. Students' understanding of the physical properties of their instruments, their sound widths, mechanical structure and the way this mechanical structure works will have positive benefits such as increasing the level of consciousness, finding solutions to problems and improving their reasoning ability. The aim of this course, which is called instrument repair, is not to provide the student with in-depth repair knowledge and skills. Because instrument repairing is a specialty in itself and requires much longer work in this field. However, at the end of this course, the student realizes the situations where repair is required on the instrument. Have the confidence to find solutions in emergency situations. When the student encounters any problems related to his instrument, he / she will try to perform the maintenance and repair of his instrument with the materials in hand, or to perform periodic maintenance of his instrument, by means of the knowledge he gained after the education he received and the skill he developed at the application level. It will do.
In the Organology course curriculum, the topics are handled in a way that will increase the awareness of the instrument and provide basic skills related to repair and maintenance, and the program is organized based on units, achievements and teaching activities. In the program, balance was pursued in terms of knowledge, skill, value and attitude, and the experiences of the students were taken into account during the learning-teaching process. The program covers not only in-class but also out-of-class activities.
