In this course, the smallest components in creations based on Turkish music tradition will be analyzed to understand how musical phrases and sentences are formed. In addition, it is aimed to understand and analyze the elements that determine the genre in the works.
The content of the course consists of discussing the structure, form, function, content and contextual features in music, evaluating the types of musical sentences, as well as auditory modifiers that create sections or divisions, discussing the structural methods used in the field of international classical music and explaining the features that determine the genres
