Objectives of the Course

Learning ‘usûls’ and ‘velveles’ of Traditional Turkish Music, To be able to accompany Turkish Folk Music and Turkish Classical Music works with bendir, to be able to perform Turkish music "usul"s (7, 8 and 9 times) and "velvele"s with bendir, Writing bendir dictation and preparing rhythm composition with bendir.

Course Content

Accompanying 7, 8 and 9-beat Turkish Folk Music and Turkish Art Music works with bendir, notating the rhythm patterns performed with bendir, performing rhythm deciphering with bendir, preparing rhythm compositions with bendir.
