Objectives of the Course

Application of playing traditional violin techniques for Turkish music in the same place at the position I. Application on instrument and understanding related with various techniques. Assembling the only condiment is associated with the grip and the authority of the octave according to the level of difficulty of sorting. Preparing repertoire by listening to and playing the instrument.

Course Content

Traditional playing violin techniques of Turkish music will be thought as with their rules in the given lectures at 1. position and application will be hold on while playing the violin. 1. And 2. Çeşni groups will be tought. Playing the violin will be studied after listening some samples from archive records.

Reading, playing the songs and making Rast Makam series at Rast and Neva strings with traditional playing techniques.
Week 3 - Theoretical & Practice
Reading, playing Rast makam series with different bow combinations.
Week 4 - Theoretical & Practice
Being çeşnis related with molded songs. Application with all fingers aboutRast-Uşşak-Segah çeşnis. Understanding çesnis in Rast makam series.
Week 5 - Theoretical & Practice
Playing the Rast makam songs with using traditional playing techniques and bow application as 2/4.

Playing the Rast makam songs with using traditional playing techniques and bow application as 3/4.

Studies of playing Ussak-Bayati-Acem Makams’ common series with different bow combinations. Understanding cesnis in the series, listening and playing the songs.
