Objectives of the Course

To introduce the motifs used in Turkish Decoration arts together with their drawing features.

Course Content

The sources, symbol language and drawing styles of motifs with vegetal origin (leaf, rosebud, penç, hatayi etc.) and animal motifs (rumi, munhani, çintemani etc.) used in Turkish Decorative Arts are examined. New designs are made.
