Objectives of the Course

To examine the changing and developing museum education studies in the world and in Turkey with theoretical and practical dimensions with an interdisciplinary approach.

Course Content

To know the historical development process in the field of museum education in the world and in Turkey, to define the philosophical foundations, justifications and processes for using museums for educational purposes. To determine the educational needs of museums based on the collections in the museums, to determine the content of the education and to gain program development skills in the museum. Theoretical and practical dimensions of Museum Education in Turkey. Researching scientific knowledge in the field of museum education with an interdisciplinary approach.
