Objectives of the Course

1) To create a general perspective on educational philosophies 2) To gain necessary equipment about play, creativity and improvisation 3) To teach contemporary theories and approaches related to music education

Comparison of educational philosophies, relationship between play and creativity, relationship between play and improvisation, application dimension of contemporary theories and approaches in music education, music education programs at international level

Learning Outcomes
1.To be equipped with the necessary equipment for the development of creativity through play in music education.
2.To be equipped to prepare learning environments where improvisation can be developed in music education.
3.Having the equipment to create learning environments where creativity is aimed to be developed by making use of other branches of art in music education.
4.To have the necessary equipment to apply contemporary theories and approaches in music education.
5.To have the necessary equipment to evaluate music education programs at international level in terms of music teaching methods.
