Objectives of the Course

The course focuses on the technological transformation of mass media and the ways in which society receptions and consumes media by explaining the concept of cultural industry in a historical context.

Course Content

The course emphasizes the differences between old and new media in the digital and technology center of the cultural phenomenon. It deals with how new media become widespread within the social structure. It aims to give a critical perspective to media and consumption habits.
