The aim of this course is to examine the concept of mental energy in athletes from a multidimensional perspective, and to analyze its relationship with performance, motivation, attention, psychological resilience, and mental fatigue. The course aims to equip students with the ability to assess, enhance, and maintain mental energy in athletic contexts.
This course covers theories of mental energy, regulation and direction of energy, mechanisms of attention and concentration, sources of motivation, strategies to cope with mental fatigue, mental resilience, and cognitive restructuring techniques. Practical components include mindfulness, visualization, breathing exercises, and performance routines.
