Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course; learn the social function of leisure time, in a changing world p. to analyze the relationship of time with society, to see the importance of work and leisure time balance in modern society

Historical development of leisure time, time types, leisure theories, Types of leisure time, institutions that regulate leisure time, Social importance and function of leisure time, class dimension of leisure time, Cultural, economic and social relations, consumption of leisure activities today

1.She-he has academic and professional knowledge about the field of physical activity and recreation.
2.She-he has the knowledge of reaching scientific information about the field of physical activity and recreation, monitoring, evaluating and applying new studies.
3.Has the knowledge of individual differences required in the design and implementation of programs related to the field of physical activity and recreation.
4.Has the knowledge of the situation and current position (occupational standards and practices) of physical activity and recreation area in different national and international cultures.
5.Plans physical activity and recreation area programs by considering individual differences and environmental opportunities, and uses appropriate methods and techniques in accordance with their theoretical/scientific foundations.
