Objectives of the Course

It is aimed to examine the macroeconomic theories that the student acquired at the undergraduate level within the framework of major economics schools, to discuss their current validity and to analyze macroeconomic events and phenomena.

Course Content

After discussing the issue of capital accumulation and value from a capitalist and Marxist perspective, the macroeconomic distinctions in terms of economic schools, especially Sraffa, Post Keynesian and Austrian School views, will be examined how we arrived at the current new political macroeconomics.
