Objectives of the Course

It is aimed to ensure that the student has general knowledge and foresight about the basic concepts in tourism economy, in a way that the Turkish tourism market is at the center of the world scale, to explain the economic structure of the tourism sector and the economic effects of tourism, and to be able to comment in terms of the general situation.

Course Content

Information will be given on the product of tourism, its economic effects, how these effects are measured, the general framework of the tourism market, the effects of exchange rate developments on the tourism market and economic growth performance.

5.Analyze the effect of tourism in preventing poverty and its relationship with micro credit system.
