Objectives of the Course

The main purpose of the course is to analyze the European Union, which is the most comprehensive supranational integration movement of today, with its history, members, institutions, structure, and policies.

Course Content

The evolution of the idea of Europe, the establishment and evolution of the European Union, its structure, legal foundations, institutions, Member States, policies, external relations, current issues.

Learning Outcomes
1.To be able to get knowledge about the structure of the European Union and analyse the development process.
2.To be able to have insight about the relationship with the European Union and Turkey will be through research and analysis
3.To be able to give information about current policies of the EU, such as security and migration policies
4.To be able to examine the EU's relations with surrounding countries, regions and continents
5.To be able to provide detailed information about EU law and legal regulations
6.To be able to prepare the ground for students to participate in EU projects
