Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to recognize new trends in the field of developmental psychology and to learn about the relationships between developmental psychology and different disciplines.

Course Content

It is a course that focuses on current and important issues in developmental psychology. This course introduces students to current research and theoretical perspectives on the experiences, challenges, and successes of individuals at various developmental stages. Additionally, the course helps students engage in new discoveries in the field of developmental psychology and develop critical thinking abilities.

Learning Outcomes
1.They will recognize important and current topics in the field of developmental psychology today and understand why these topics are important.
2.They will develop the skills to find, evaluate, and analyze current research in the field of developmental psychology.
3.Within the course, students are given the ability to carry out an applied project on a current topic in developmental psychology and effectively present the results.
4.By developing critical thinking skills on current developmental psychology topics, they will be open to understanding and discussing different perspectives.
5.They will combine the knowledge acquired with information from other fields and subfields.
