The aim of this course is to examine how gender is handled from a social psychological perspective and the effects of gender in human relations.
The course includes basic concepts and research methods on gender; Social Role Theory; development of gender relations; gender stereotypes; conformity and non-conformity to gender roles; sexism; gender and sexism in family life; gender and sexism in working life; effects of gender on love and love relationships; sexuality; gender and violence; gender equality debates.
