The aim of this course is to examine the importance and role of close relationships in human life and to evaluate current theories and debates.
The course will cover the dynamics of close relationships; current debates on interpersonal attraction; romantic relationships; love; sexuality; relationship processes; interpersonal conflicts in relationships and their resolution; gender debates in close relationships; theories and research on close relationships; the effects of culture in close relationships.
