Objectives of the Course

Description, role of clinical psychology and clinical psychologist. General view to holistic evaluation in clinical psychology, principles and application of assessment interview, review of assessment and evaluation areas, learn principles of psychological evaluation report writing.

Course Content

Clinical Psychology, clinical psychologist definition, role, relations with other disciplines; psychological enterprise and ethics; principles of psychological assessment; psychotherapy and counseling; working with children, adults individually and in groups, families and couples.

Learning Outcomes
1.Knows the definition and role of clinical psychology and psychologist.
2.It distinguishes clinical psychology's relationships with other disciplines and its interaction with other subfields of psychology.
3.Knows the concept of holistic assessment in clinical psychology and attaches importance to the concept.
4.Recognizes and becomes aware of the characteristics of measurement and evaluation areas (such as intelligence, personality, neuropsychology, psychopathology).
5.Recognize and be aware of clinical work areas across life periods and in a broader context.
6.Knows the principles of writing a psychological assessment report and carries out the holistic assessment stages.
