Objectives of the Course

Psychologist-practitioner to obtain the competencies (primary competencies) related to the psychological content of the professional working process required by the profession and the competencies (activating competencies) that enable the practitioner to serve effectively and to gain the competence of theory and practice for the standards required for performing the profession independently. under supervision.

Course Content

Properly selecting, applying, interpreting and reporting the necessary assessment tools (observation, interview, test, etc.) in the process of psychological evaluation; cooperation; neutrality; professionalism; education; documents, test equipment and use of space principles and evaluation in the light of these principles, MMPI, TAT, Rorshach, SCID I and SCID II, mental functions scales, developmental assessment, forensic case, clinic-polyclinic case, for children and adults writing medical board and consultation report, getting supervision

Learning Outcomes
1.Selects, applies, interprets and reports the necessary assessment tools (observation, interview, test, etc.) correctly in the psychological assessment process.
2.Can provide expert opinion in the field of forensic psychology.
3.Knows the principles of confidentiality, cooperation, impartiality, professionalism, training, use of documents, test tools and equipment and space in the psychological evaluation process and makes evaluation in the light of these principles.
4.To make diagnosis and personality assessment; to use assessment tools such as MMPI, TAT, Roschach, Rotter Sentence Completion, SCID I, SCID II, DIP-Q; to use self-report and interviewer scales where and how necessary, to evaluate the results obtained and to use them in accordance with their purpose.
5.To assess mental functions; to use assessment tools such as WISC-R, WMS, Benton, Bender Gestalt, FAB, MMDI and MMSE where and how necessary, to evaluate the results obtained and to use them in accordance with their purpose.
6.To make developmental assessment; to use assessment tools such as AGTE, Vineland, Good Enough Harris, Conners where and how necessary, to evaluate the results obtained and to use them in accordance with their purpose.
7.Knows how to write forensic case, clinical-polyclinic case, health board and consultation report for children and adults.
