Objectives of the Course

Complementary therapies are an increasingly developing practice. It is increasingly being integrated into the mainstream of healthcare. Physiotherapy and rehabilitation is an established allied health science with an integral role in many areas of medicine, from the treatment of congenital deformities to sports medicine and the elderly. The focus is on the whole person, symptoms, function and recovery. With this course, students' knowledge about complementary therapies will increase and a door will be opened for them to benefit from complementary therapies in clinical practice.

1.At the end of this course, the student will have knowledge of the definition and usage areas of complementary therapies.
2.At the end of this course, the student will have information about the place and effectiveness of complementary treatments in clinical practice.

4.Have information about the level of evidence of complementary therapies.
5.Gain knowledge about the extent to which complementary treatments should be added to clinical practice.
