Complementary therapies are an increasingly developing practice. It is increasingly being integrated into the mainstream of healthcare. Physiotherapy and rehabilitation is an established allied health science with an integral role in many areas of medicine, from the treatment of congenital deformities to sports medicine and the elderly. The focus is on the whole person, symptoms, function and recovery. With this course, students' knowledge about complementary therapies will increase and a door will be opened for them to benefit from complementary therapies in clinical practice.
