Objectives of the Course

The aim is to inform physiotherapists about recognizing oral motor dysfunctions that occur due to various etiologies in the pediatric and adult population, to evaluate oral motor dysfunctions, and to teach appropriate rehabilitation approaches, to provide them with the ability to apply them. Within the scope, some of the assessment of oral motor function and treatment techniques of oral motor dysfunction will be taught.

Course Content

It include anatomical, physiological and functional characteristics of the orofacial region, stages of motor development, conditions that cause oral motor dysfunction and their evaluation, discussion of appropriate physiotherapy methods, literature review, project and research.
