The aim is to provide students with knowledge of fundamental concepts and principles related to development; the physical, sexual, language, cognitive, personality, and moral development of individuals; and the impact of experiences during developmental periods on understanding and evaluating human behavior. The course aims to present religious education from a developmental perspective, using modern practices.
Basic concepts and principles related to development, factors affecting development: Hereditary factors, environmental factors, historical time factor; developmental theories: Freud's theory of psycho-sexual development, Erikson's theory of psycho-social development, Piaget's theory of cognitive development, Maslow's theory of personality development, Levinson's theory of development, ecological approach (Bronfenbrenner); prenatal development, physical development in childhood, cognitive development, personality development, moral development; physical development in adolescence, developmental tasks specific to adolescence, cognitive development in adolescence, personality development, moral development and psycho-social development, theories of religious development and religious education.
