Objectives of the Course

This course examines the relationship between religion, spirituality, and health. Evaluations are made based on theories about religiosity and spirituality, as well as the findings of empirical studies on mental and physical health.

Course Content

This course examines the relationship between religion and spirituality and human health from an interdisciplinary perspective. First, definitions of religion and spirituality are examined, and the understanding of biopsychospiritual health, as integrated into the biopsychosocial model, is discussed.
