Objectives of the Course

General principles of new training and pruning systems; and their effects on vegetative and generative developments; branching and flower bud formation features; and considering of this features, selection of proper training and pruning systems for different ecological conditions and different rootstocks.

Course Content

Training systems and pruning methods of fruit species; and examining of their effects on tree development, flower bud formation and productivity and quality of the fruit.

2.To recognize of flower bud formation of fruit trees and effective factors on them.
3.To distinguish of canopy types of fruit trees
4.To be able to apply true canopy shape
5.To realize canopy shapes and flower bud formation
6.To recognize of the effects of winter and summer prunings on bud formation and tree shape .
7.To learn winter and summer prunings
8.To be able to transfer to farmers the pruning knowledges and practicess

The classifications of fruit trees. Winter and summer dormancy. The examining of physiological and morphological bud differentiation stages and their importance.
