Objectives of the Course

To know the basic techniques and methods used in scientific studies on pathogenic fungi causing various diseases in plants.

Course Content

Introduction of aseptic techniques, isolation of phytopathogenic fungi, production in artificial environments, storage, inoculation of plants and various microscopic techniques for the diagnosis of fungi constitute the main scope of the course.
